Here's how to make equalize all the sound coming from your vent so that some people are not whispering and others screaming.

Open Ventrilo.

Click on Setup.

Click on SFX.

If  'Compressor' is not in the Current List: Click on 'Compressor' in the Available List and then click on <- Add.

Click on 'Compressor' in the Current List and then click on Properties.

Chenge the vaules to:

Gain:   15
Attack:   0.01
Release:   500
Threshold:   -30
Ratio:   100.0
Pre Delay:   4.0

Click OK on all three windows and you are ready to go!

Actually love "Makwork for you!" It sounds suave. The format was lost because this is a very very quirky text interface. All that said -- it sounds like I might be able to set up some equalization so that on "good ear days" I might be able to try stopping in on vent sometime! (hyperacusis) Thanks for the info!

Ventrilo - Setup - Voice Then click on SFX button Gives a new popup window this window contains the list to add the compressor, when you press add you get a new pop-up window where you enter the setting given by rob
