The most important thing to keep in mind is that somewhere on the isle of Aeon is a necromancer powerful enough to create undead that can follow commands and to do so from a great distance. Further study of the creatures destroyed by our patrols has revealed a small idol sewn into or otherwise attached to the very bodies. We believe these devices are what allow such a degree of control and we need more samples to trace the magic back to its source and create a counter measure.
